The head of the interim government of the country, Mohammad Yunus, is talking about stopping the violence, but once again news of an attack on a Hindu family has surfaced. Rioters have set fire to the house of a Hindu family in northwestern Bangladesh. It is worth noting that this Hindu family had no association with any political organization.

According to the information, this incident of setting fire to the house of a Hindu family took place on Tuesday evening in Farabari Mandirpada village under Akacha Union of Thakurgaon Sadar Upazila. An incident of targeted arson has taken place. People living nearby have told that unknown people set fire to the house of Kaleshwar Barman in the village. The local people took immediate action and controlled the fire and the people living in the house managed to escape safely. The police station in-charge of the area has said that the police visited the spot the same night, and efforts are on to identify the criminals.
278 attacks so far
The National Hindu Grand Alliance in Bangladesh has claimed that since the Sheikh Hasina-led government fell on August 5, 278 places in 48 districts of Bangladesh have been attacked and intimidated. The organization has called it an attack on Hinduism. The organization also said that Kaleshwar Burman, whose house was set on fire, has no connection with any political organization.
