Bank Holidays April 2024: According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) holiday list, banks will remain closed for a total of 14 days in the month of April including public holidays, regional holidays and regular closure on Sunday, second and fourth Saturday. April also includes festivals like Eid-ul-Fitr, Ram Navami and Baisakhi. However, online banking services will remain available across the country even during these closed days. Banks will remain closed on these days in April 2024
- 1 April 2024- Banks will remain closed due to annual closing in the entire country except Aizawl, Chandigarh, Gangtok, Kolkata, Shillong and Shimla.
- 5 April 2024- Banks will remain closed in Telangana, Jammu and Srinagar due to Babu Jagjivan Ram birthday and Jumat Jumatul Vida.
- 7 April 2024- There will be a holiday in banks due to Sunday.
- 9 April 2024- Banks will remain closed in Belapur, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Imphal, Jammu, Mumbai, Nagpur, Panaji and Srinagar due to Gudi Padwa/Ugadi Festival/Telugu New Year and first Navratri.
- 10 April 2024- Banks will remain closed in Kochi, Kerala due to Eid.
- 11 April 2024- Due to Eid, banks will remain closed in the entire country except Chandigarh, Gangtok, Kochi.
- 13 April 2024- There will be a holiday in banks throughout the year due to second Saturday.
- 14 April 2024- Banks will remain closed due to Sunday.
- 15 April 2024- Banks will remain closed in Guwahati and Shimla due to Bohag Bihu and Himachal Day.
- 17 April 2024- Due to Ram Navami, banks will remain closed in Ahmedabad, Belapur, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Dehradun, Gangtok, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kanpur, Lucknow, Patna, Ranchi, Shimla, Mumbai and Nagpur.
- 20 April 2024- Banks will remain closed in Agartala due to Gariya Puja.
- 21 April 2024- Banks will remain closed across the country due to Sunday.
- 27 April 2024- There will be a holiday in banks due to the fourth Saturday.
- 28 April 2024- Banks will remain closed due to Sunday.
