National Cricket Academy Ground in Bengaluru
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) on Saturday announced its plan to unveil the new National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru. BCCI Secretary Jay Shah revealed that a new state-of-the-art facility will soon be launched in Bengaluru. This will give a further boost to cricket in India. Jay Shah has also shared some pictures while posting on his Instagram. The BCCI revealed its plan to build a new NCA facility near Bengaluru airport in February 2022. Today, after two years, it now looks ready.

Two years after the year 2022, the facility is almost ready and will have three world class playing fields and 45 practice pitches. Apart from this, an indoor cricket pitch has been built for the players. So that despite bad weather, the practice of the players is not affected. An Olympic size swimming pool has been built for the players. At the same time, the new NCA will also have recovery and sports science facilities. Jai Shah wrote in his post that it is a great pleasure to announce that the new National Cricket Academy (NCA) of BCCI is almost complete and will open soon in Bengaluru. The new NCA will have three world-class playing fields, 45 practice pitches, indoor cricket pitches, an Olympic-sized swimming pool and state-of-the-art training, recovery and sports science facilities. This initiative will help the current and future cricketers of our country to develop their skills in the best possible environment! The existing NCA facility was built in 2000 under the leadership of former BCCI President Raj Singh Dungarpur. Legendary cricketer VVS Laxman is the current cricket head of the National Cricket Academy, which is located near the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.
