BCCI’s big action against KKR player
Ramandeep Singh Breaching IPL Code of Conduct: BCCI has taken another big decision between IPL 2024. In this season of IPL, BCCI has taken action against another KKR player for violating the code of conduct. This player had committed a Level 1 offense under Article 2.20 of the IPL Code of Conduct in the match played against Mumbai Indians, due to which the BCCI has sentenced this player.
BCCI’s big action against KKR player
Kolkata Knight Riders’ Ramandeep Singh has been fined 20 per cent of his match fee for violating the IPL code of conduct during the match against Mumbai Indians at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Saturday. Ramandeep committed a Level 1 offense under Article 2.20 of the IPL Code of Conduct. He pleaded guilty and accepted the match referee’s sanction. For Level 1 breaches of the Code of Conduct, the match referee’s decision is final and binding.
Match winning innings played against Mumbai
Ramandeep Singh had scored unbeaten 17 runs in 8 balls in the match played against Mumbai Indians. He gave runs to the team in the last overs which proved to be decisive for the victory. But he violated the IPL code of conduct in this match, due to which BCCI has taken this action.
This was the condition of the entire match
In this match which was played in 16-16 overs due to rain, Mumbai Indians captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and decided to bowl first. Whereas, KKR batted first and put 157 runs on the board. Venkatesh Iyer scored the highest 42 runs for KKR. In response, Mumbai Indians team could score only 139 runs in 20 overs and lost the match by 18 runs. This is Mumbai’s 9th defeat this season.
