Child missing from platform at Ranchi station, bad condition of family members, No trace of the child found even after 4 days, police investigating.
Ranchi. The couple has been staying at Ranchi railway station for 4 days waiting for their child. These couples are sometimes going to the station, sometimes to Chutiya police station and sometimes to the GRP and narrating their ordeal, so that they can get back their child who was stolen from them. But, even after 4 days, nothing has been found about the child. The child’s mother, Meena Devi, says that two men and a woman came to them and talked to them, then the child was given biscuits and then given tea. After this he fell asleep and during that time the child was stolen.
In this case, the child’s father Pradeep Lohra says that he had gone to buy food for his wife. During this time this incident happened. A picture of a man carrying a child has been captured in CCTV and on that basis the police is trying to catch the child thief. However, they had to face a lot of trouble to register the complaint of child theft. Pradeep told that he works in a brick kiln and he had reached Ranchi station from Agartala, after which he had to go to Latehar, but due to no train, he decided to spend the night at Ranchi station but a major accident happened.
At present the police is busy locating the child. According to the information, the child was taken by auto, due to which the police is searching for the auto driver. Auto driver Ashok Jha, who drives an auto at Ranchi station, said that they are also helping the police. In this whole matter, social worker Baijnath Kumar, who works for the child’s family in the case of trafficking and missing children, also came forward and through him the family also reached the CID. At the same time, he also informed the Railways about the matter, on which the Railway Ministry has also shown seriousness.
At the same time, on this issue, he says that a big trafficking racket is active on the railway platform. It is important that the Railway Administration takes this matter seriously because two girls who had come to Ranchi from Murshidabad a month ago, went missing and till now no trace of them has been found. However, recently the High Court had also shown its seriousness regarding the missing child and had called for a report from the CID in this matter. On the other hand, the incident of child theft still remains a problem and challenge for Ranchi.
