New Delhi. A new alert has been issued regarding traffic in the national capital Delhi. Information about no park zone has been given in the traffic update, so that the common people do not have to face much trouble. Delhi Traffic Police has issued an advisory stating that no vehicle will be allowed to stop or park anywhere on Tughlaq Road, Safdarjung Road and Kamal Ataturk Marg on Tuesday.
Earlier, the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) had said that it will gherao the Prime Minister’s residence on March 26 to register its protest against the arrest of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). According to the advisory, traffic will be affected in New Delhi area on Tuesday due to special law and order. The advisory issued by Delhi Traffic Police said, ‘To ensure smooth traffic management in New Delhi area, no vehicle is allowed to stop or park anywhere on Tughlaq Road, Safdarjung Road and Kamal Ataturk Marg. General entry of people will not be allowed, vehicles parked on the above roads will be removed and prosecution will be initiated for improper parking and disobedience of legal instructions.

It was said in the advisory that if necessary, traffic will be diverted from Aurobindo Chowk, Tughlaq Road, Samrat Hotel Roundabout, Gymkhana Post Office Roundabout, Teen Murti Haifa Roundabout, Niti Marg Roundabout and Kautilya Marg Roundabout. Police requested that commuters avoid going to Kamal Ataturk Marg, Safdarjung Road, Akbar Road and Teen Murti Marg. ED had arrested Kejriwal on Thursday last week in a money laundering case related to excise policy. He is in the agency’s custody till March 28.
