New Delhi. Before the MCD elections in Delhi, the BJP has attacked the Aam Aadmi Party on the basis of the pollution of Yamuna on the festival of Chhath Puja. The BJP has made a new plan to surround the Kejriwal government on the issue of cleaning the Yamuna. BJP will campaign very loudly among Purvanchali voters that despite all the promises, the Delhi government has failed to clean the Yamuna. This is not only increasing the pollution in Yamuna, but it is also hurting the religious sentiments of the people of Purvanchali community who believe in Chhath Puja. At present, poisonous white foam is floating in the Yamuna of Delhi. Chhath festival is to be celebrated on 30 October. Earlier today, on October 28, the Nahay-Khay festival was celebrated.
Let us tell you that former Delhi BJP President Manoj Tiwari has accused the Arvind Kejriwal government of neglecting Purvanchalis. He has said that Chhath Puja is the biggest festival of the people of Purvanchal and they celebrate it with great pomp in Delhi also. Knowing this, the Delhi government has not made proper preparations for this. Due to this there is great resentment among the people of Purvanchal.
Along with this, Manoj Tiwari targeted Chief Minister Kejriwal and said that Arvind Kejriwal had promised to clean the Yamuna when he came to power. But the truth is that the Yamuna is getting more and more polluted, its water is no longer usable for the people.

At the same time, a video of MP Manoj Tiwari is going viral on social media platform Twitter, in which Tiwari said that when BJP leaders reached Kalindi Ghat today, poisonous chemical was being sprayed there to hide the foam. On seeing the BJP leaders, these people left the chemicals and fled from there.
Along with this, Majinder Singh Sirsa also made a tweet in which he wrote,
The chemical you are seeing…
The government was planning to throw these chemicals into the Yamuna so that the mothers and sisters who come here on the day of Chhath Puja get sick from this poisonous water.

Apart from this, BJP spokesperson Nigat Abbas also gave his opinion on this issue by tweeting, he wrote-
This is the reality of Maa Yamuna under the regime of Arvind Kejriwal, I am reading with a heavy heart that this mother Yamuna is no more but has become a big drain of smelly and poisonous water. How did Kejriwal make it more poisonous by adding chemicals to this water. Watch the video.
