Veronica reported that she and her seven-year-old son were awakened at midnight to the sound of airstrikes and explosions. As soon as he woke up, he joined the crowd of thousands of people who took to the streets to get out of Ukraine. Veronica says that while reaching the border of Ukraine, there was no such place where she could not hear the sound of sirens.
Veronica described the incident at a press conference held at the Los Angeles office of US Attorney Gloria Allred, who fights for women’s rights.
