Indian Cricket Team
Before the start of T20 World Cup 2024, the Indian team will have to find answers to many important questions to keep their bowling attack right. Team India has to play its first match against Ireland on 5 June in this World Cup jointly hosted by West Indies and USA. In the last 2 T20 World Cup editions, the Indian team was one of the strong contenders to win the cup but in both of them it could not even reach the final.
Now once again everyone’s eyes are on Team India, which is playing under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma and is currently ranked first in the ICC T20 team rankings. Now, former player and fast bowler RP Singh, who was part of the 2007 T20 World Cup winning team, has given a big statement regarding the bowling attack of the team in this mega event, in which he has also advised Hardik Pandya to bowl.
Hardik has proved his fitness in IPL 2024
RP Singh said in his statement to PTI that Hardik bowled 4 overs in many matches in the 17th season of IPL, which clearly shows that he is fully fit. Hardik’s bowling is going to be very important for Team India in this T20 World Cup, in which he will have to bowl all the overs of his quota. At the same time, if Shivam Dubey also bowls, then it will be even better. Shivam may not play in the first few matches, but whenever he gets a chance, he will definitely perform well for the team.
Siraj should be made to bowl with the new ball
Bowling in the final overs is very important in T20, regarding which RP Singh said in his statement that Bumrah may not bowl three overs in the death overs. I think Arshdeep Singh should bowl in the final overs with Bumrah because he has more variations than Siraj. Siraj looks more effective with the new ball.
