The pair of Ramkumar and Meineni did not have to struggle much in the pre-quarterfinals. He defeated Germany’s Marcos Kalovelonis and Japan’s Toshihide Matsui 6-3 6-3.
Balaji and Vardhan struggled a bit to beat the pair of Mathias Bourgue (France) and Kimer Koppajens (Belgium). The Indian players won 6-4 4-6 10-3. Meanwhile, India’s Prajnesh Gunneswaran will take on Czech top seed Jiri Vesely on Thursday.
