After the case of brutality against a woman came to light in Majholia police station area of Bettiah, the police came into action and arrested eight people. The victim’s mother has filed an FIR in the women’s police station and pleaded for justice.
According to the information received, a woman sitting in her shop in a village of Majhauliya police station area of Bettiah was taken out of the shop by some bullies, stripped, stripped and beaten badly. An FIR has been registered in the women’s police station on the application of the victim’s mother. Taking action, the police arrested eight accused including two women and sent them to jail. In this incident that took place on the afternoon of April 4, the victim’s mother has also submitted the video of the incident to the police.

It is said that the incident happened at the shop with the daughter of a woman resident of Kalyanpur police station area of East Champaran. Nine people have been named in the FIR lodged. Out of the named accused, seven accused Dhela Mian alias Sarfuddin, Manoj Thakur alias Kanhaiya, Akbar Ansari, Hakim Mian, Madina Khatun, Najma Khatun, Naushad Ansari alias Nirahu have been arrested. Raids are being conducted to arrest other accused involved in the incident. In the FIR, the victim’s mother has told that the son-in-law had gone out somewhere. Meanwhile, the named accused reached there and told him to leave the house and land and go away from here. When the woman protested, they stripped her and started beating her.

When the victim’s mother reached her daughter’s house from East Champaran after getting information about the matter, a person from the village gave her a video of the incident. After watching the video, her mother reached the women’s police station on April 7 and informed about the incident. After that, on the instructions of the SP, the team of Mahila police station and Majhauliya police station raided the village and arrested the accused. SDPO Vivek Deep said that as soon as the information about the case was received, the police took immediate action. Further action is still going on in the matter. Police will take strict action against those who take law into their own hands.
