Rewari. The monthly meeting of the district unit of the Bharatiya Kisan Union (Chadhuni) was held today at Kisan Bhavan. In this meeting, new members were added while expanding the organization and important decisions were taken after discussing various problems of the farmers. In the meeting, Manfool Singh Rohjhuwas was appointed as the District Deputy Chief of the Union and was also made in charge of Nahar. Additionally, four-five other members were given the membership of the union, which further strengthened the organization. A special committee has been formed to prevent a major concern of farmers, fake manure and seed sales.
Union Principal Time Singh said that the sale of fake manure and seeds in Rewari is very high. There was also a meeting with the DDA of the Department of Agriculture in this regard. Now this committee of seven members of the union will keep a strict monitoring on the sale of manure and seeds at all shops. He warned that the license of shopkeepers who would be found selling fake fertilizers and seeds will be canceled.
Samay Singh Pradhan said that the compensation portal was opened, and hailstorms in more than four dozen villages damaged crops. But it has not been clarified by the administration and the government yet how much damage has been done by the farmers and how long they will get compensation. Apart from this, many farmers have not yet received the money of the year 2023.
The Bharatiya Kisan Union (Crossing) Organization has warned of agitation if these problems are not resolved. He said that if the problems of farmers are not resolved by the 15th, then a huge protest will be held in front of the DC office.
Union Principal Samay Singh also informed that the Indian Kisan Union (Crossing) Organization’s contemplation camp program will be held in Haridwar on 19, 20 and 21 June, which will include a large number of farmer members from Rewari. The Chief Minister is coming to Rewari on June 15, for which the Indian Farmers Union (Close) will demand the administration to hold a delegation meeting with the Chief Minister tomorrow. The union will go from village to village to connect new members, and Munni Budhpur, head of the women’s wing, also said to start a membership campaign from village to village.
In today’s monthly meeting, daughters were also honored who topped their school or at district level. This initiative reflects the organization’s commitment to education and women empowerment. On this occasion, District Executive Principal Rajendra Kumar Gera, Ved Prakash, Rajkumar, Ashok Numberdar Sangwadi, Sheesharam, Surendra, Virendra Kheda Alampur, OP Yadav, Shyam Sundar, Purushottam Saheb, Anoop Yadav, Kuldeep Karnavas, Kailash Bhotwas, Krishna Saini, Women District Head Munni Budhpur, Manisha Yadav, Kamlesh Tahana, Mamta Yadav, were present.
