Bharatpur In the Atalbandh police station area of the city, thieves targeted a listened house and stole gold-silver jewelery, cash, mobile phones and important documents. The incident occurred in Prakash Soni’s house near Satellite Hospital when the family went to Jaipur.
The victim Prakash Soni said that he had gone to Jaipur on July 3 with his family and went to the house by locking it. When he returned late on Saturday night, he saw that the locks of the main door of the house were broken. On reaching inside the house, the cupboard of the room was found broken and a hammer and saws were lying nearby, which made it clear that the thieves had come with full preparation.
Gold-silver jewelery, cash, mobile phones and land related documents were taken with them with them worth millions of rupees kept in the cupboard. The victim immediately informed the police station, after which the police reached the spot inspected the spot and registered a case and started investigation.
Police say footage of CCTV cameras installed in the area is being investigated and the nearby suspects are being questioned. At present, the police team is looking for the suspects and attempts are being made to reveal the theft incident.
Local residents have also expressed concern over the increasing thieves in the area and demanded the police to increase patrolling.
