Chandigarh In Bhiwani district, multi -organizational works have been started in various villages as per the instructions of Irrigation and Water Resources Minister Shruti Chaudhary to get rid of the problem of waterlogging and provide water for irrigation to farmers. Special divoting plans have been made to provide relief from waterlogging in village Bapora and Dinod, under which the water filled in the village population area will be poured into nearby drains. This will not only eliminate the problem of waterlogging, but farmers who cultivate with these draws will also have enough water for irrigation. Solar vertical drainage systems are being introduced to solve the problem of water standing in the fields in the village Bapoda, Ramupura, Balliyali, Dhangh Kalan, and Dhangh Khurd, so that the land will be made arable by flowing the water stored on the upper layer of the ground into the drains. To remove the waterlogging of the fields in Ramupura, water is being poured into the drains through the pipeline, whose work has started. Apart from this, crash barriers are being installed on the drain along Bapora to Rajpura-Kharkhari-Sui Link Road so that vehicles running on the road do not fall into the drain and accidents can be avoided. Similarly, taking action on the long -standing demand of villagers in village Premnagar and Mandhana, construction of pump house on Premnagar Drain and Sivra Talu Link Drain has been started. This pump house will ensure drainage at a rapid pace during rain. In view of the problem of choke in the rainy season on the major drawings of the district such as Bhiwani Ghaggar drain and Mitathal-Guskani link drain, the old pipe aqueduct is being removed and open aqueduct is being created so that there is no obstruction in the flow of water. Along with this, pump houses are also being built on these major drains so that rainwater can be removed soon with the help of motor pumps. Additionally, it is being developed as a reservoir/lake to enhance the beauty and capacity of Dulasar Johar located near the Baba Dhuni Wala temple located in village Dinod. This scheme will not only promote water conservation but will also be beneficial in environmental and religious terms.
Instructions have been given to the department to complete all these schemes quickly so that the villagers get rid of waterlogging as soon as possible and adequate water supply to farmers can be ensured.
