Dhar. ASI survey of Bhojshala located in Dhar, Madhya Pradesh is ongoing. On Tuesday, the 89th day of this survey, ASI found 5 more remains of stones. These are being said to be part of old pillars and walls. However, only after cleaning will it be known where these remains of stones were used. So far 1800 remains have been found in Bhojshala.
The Madhya Pradesh High Court had ordered the ASI survey of Bhojshala. After this, ASI has been conducting the survey here since March 22 this year. The Madhya Pradesh High Court has given time till June 27 to ASI for the survey. The next hearing in the Bhojshala case is on July 4 in the Indore Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court. On the same day, ASI has to present its report in the court. If we talk about the ASI survey in Bhojshala, then among the remains found here, 550 are big. Apart from these, 30 broken statues have also been found in Bhojshala. ASI also did excavations at many places in Bhojshala and apart from this, survey work is also being done with ground penetrating radar. So that the objects under the ground can be detected.
Both Hindus and Muslims have been claiming rights over Bhojshala. The Hindu side says that Raja Bhoj had built a temple of Goddess Saraswati here. According to the Hindu side, the idol of Goddess Saraswati which was here is now in the museum of London. Whereas, the Muslim side calls it Kamal Maula Mosque. Due to the dispute between Hindu and Muslim sides regarding Bhojshala, both have got permission to worship and pray here. Hindus can worship in Bhojshala every Tuesday. Whereas, Muslims have been allowed to offer namaz here every Friday. The Hindu side has taken the Bhojshala dispute to Madhya Pradesh High Court. From where, an ASI survey was ordered in an attempt to resolve the dispute. Now everyone’s eyes are on what ASI tells about Bhojshala in its survey report and what is the court’s stand on this.
