Bhopal Health News : Bhopal, Navdunia representative. There is good news for the students who want to take admission in Ayurveda colleges. The Union Ministry of AYUSH has recognized six new private Ayurveda colleges in Bhopal. In these, admission will be done from this session (2021-22). Apart from this, permission has been given to start two new private colleges in Sehore and one each in Indore and Jabalpur. With the new colleges, there are 15 Ayurveda colleges in Bhopal. Of these, 14 are private and one is government. There are total 29 Ayurveda colleges in the state.
Now there are more than 1800 seats of Ayurveda in the state.
Working President of Private Ayurveda College Teachers Welfare Association, Dr. Rakesh Pandey informed that 700 seats will be increased with the start of 10 new Ayurveda colleges in the state. He told that now there are 1800 units of Ayurveda in the state.
There are more seats. The new colleges which have been recognized in Bhopal include Rama Krishna College of Ayurveda Gandhi Nagar, Sardar Ajit Singh Smriti Ayurved College, Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Ayurveda College, Mansarovar Ayurveda College, Department of Ayurveda, IES University and Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma Ayurveda College, Bhauri. . School of Ayurveda and Siddha at Sehore, RN Kapoor Memorial Ayurvedic College at Indore, Purnayu Ayurvedic College, Jabalpur have also got recognition. The letter of permission has been issued to all these colleges on February 18. Let us inform that the counseling process of the first phase is going on for taking admission in AYUSH undergraduate course in the state. The choice filling time for preferred colleges was till February 20. The allotment of seats among the registered candidates will be done on the basis of their merit on February 24.
