Bhopal (New World Representative). In Rajmata Scindia Smriti Hamidia Cup, Bhopal Women A defeated Bhopal B by four wickets in the final match of the 5-match series by forming two teams of Bhopal women players. Bhopal Women’s B team won this series 3-2.
Batting first, Bhopal Women’s B scored 99 runs in 18.2 overs in the fifth and final match played at Nehru Nagar Police Ground. In this Nikita Singh contributed 37 runs, Rahila Firdous 23 runs and Preeti Yadav contributed 10 runs. Bhopal Women’s A’s Soumya Tiwari, Roshni, Ishita took three wickets, Fatima took one wicket. In reply, Bhopal A achieved the winning target in 18.1 overs for the loss of six wickets. In this, Soumya Tiwari contributed 41 runs and Tamannaah Nigam contributed 26 runs. Preeti Yadav of Bhopal B, Rachna Yadav got success one by one. Soumya Tiwari was the player of the match. At the conclusion of the competition, Additional Collector Kamal Solanki distributed the prizes. On this occasion Adil Sharif, senior cricketer Mushtaq Ali, Mehfooz Ali, Asif Khan, Ajitesh Jain, Rajaram Raikwar etc. were present.

All India Open Tagore T10 Cricket Tournament
Bhopal. All India Open Tagore T-10 Cricket Tournament is being organized by Rabindranath Tagore University Bhopal Sports Club on 2nd March 16th March at RNTU Ground. BDCA President Dhruv Narayan Singh will inaugurate the competition on Wednesday. On this occasion, special guest BDCA Vice President Dr. Sushil Singh Thakur, Raisen District Sports Officer Jalaj Chaturvedi and former captain of MP Ranji team Brajesh Singh Tomar will be present. University Deputy Registrar Ritwik Choubey gave the information. He informed that more than 24 teams from across the country are participating in the tournament. Two lakh rupees will be given to the winning team, one lakh rupees to the runner-up and Rs 50,000 for the third place.
