Dausa. Mahwa police station, taking major action, arrested the notorious history -sheeter with illegal arms stocks. Police have recovered a pistol, two revolvers and 257 live cartridges from the possession of the accused.
The station in -charge said that on receiving the information, blockade was done in the area. Meanwhile, history -sheeter Vinod Jat, resident of Kherli police station area of Bharatpur, was stopped. During the search, a large quantity of weapons and cartridges were recovered from him.
According to the police, there are about 50 criminal cases against the accused in various police stations. During interrogation, an attempt is being made to find out for what purpose the weapon came to Mahawa and which people were planning to target. Further investigation is going on by registering a case against the accused under the Arms Act.
