The Indian women’s team is playing a series in all three formats against the South African women’s team at home. The 3-match ODI series between the two teams recently ended, which Team India won 3-0 with a clean sweep. Now a one-match Test series will be played between the two teams from June 28 and after that there will be a three-match T20 series between India and Africa, all the matches of which will be played at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Both the teams have reached Chennai to play the Test match, while a big announcement has been made by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association regarding this match, in which fans will get free entry to the stadium.
Fans will get tickets for this match for free
Tamil Nadu Cricket Association (TNCA) has announced, as per INS report, that tickets for the one-match Test series between India and South Africa women’s team, which will be played from June 28 to July 1 at MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai, will be given to the general public without any payment. Apart from this, fans can buy tickets for the three-match T20 series between the two teams online for Rs 150, whose sale will start from June 29 on Paytm Insider. All these three T20 matches will start at 7 pm Indian time.
Indian team had the upper hand
If we talk about the head to head record of the women’s teams of India and South Africa in the Test format, then so far only two Test matches have been played between the two teams in which the Indian women’s team has managed to win both the matches. Out of these, once the Test match played in Mysore in 2014 was won by Team India by an innings and 34 runs, while in the Test match played at Paarl in 2002, Team India won by 10 wickets.
