According to the report, META and Reliance have reached an agreement after discussions during Anant Ambani’s pre-wedding celebrations in early March. However, the exact value of this deal has not been revealed yet.

Through this data center, Meta will be able to operate four to five nodes at many locations across the country. This will allow faster data processing in India. Currently, the data of Indian users comes to Meta’s data center in Singapore. According to experts on the matter, apart from content through Meta Local Data Centre, local ads will also improve the user experience. Besides, this will also reduce the cost of global data centres. The 10-acre campus in Chennai’s Ambattur Industrial Estate is a three-way joint venture between Brookfield Asset Management, Reliance Industries and Digital Realty. It can cater up to 100-MW IT load capacity.
