According to the information shared by the central government, after the impact of the corona pandemic has subsided across the world and the pace of vaccination coverage has accelerated, the government, in consultation with stakeholders, has decided to resume international passenger services from March 27. . Explain that the ban on scheduled international passenger flights in India is in force till February 28.
Ban was imposed from 23 March 2020
Significantly, India had banned regular international flights from 23 March 2020 due to the Corona crisis. However, in the meantime, flights were being operated under special arrangements like air bubble with some countries. Since July 2020, special passenger flights are operating between India and about 40 countries under the air bubble arrangement.
