At the same time, the team has also retained many veteran players who played in the last season with the team.

Trinbago Knight Riders have signed Tim David and Jason Roy for the Caribbean Premier League 2024 season. At the same time, they have also retained experienced West Indies stars like Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Kieron Pollard, Nicholas Pooran and Dwayne Bravo. The franchise confirmed this with its retention list on Monday (June 10). Let us tell you, David has previously played for St Lucia Kings. Meanwhile, Roy was earlier with the Knight Riders’ IPL franchise KKR for IPL 2024, but he withdrew before the start of the season.

Trinbago Knight Riders currently have 15 members in their squad and they have room to add two more in the draft in July. TKR have also secured the services of Afghanistan spinner Waqar Salmakhel and Ireland left-arm pacer Josh Little, while US international Ali Khan will return to the franchise for another edition. However, this will be Roy’s first time in the CPL. Last year, the Knight Riders made it to the final after finishing second in the league stage but lost to Guyana Amazon Warriors. The Knight Riders are the most successful team in the CPL with four titles. However, their last trophy came in 2020.
