There has been a meeting in a closed room between Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and former Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray. The meeting was held in the room of Ram Shinde, Chairman of the Legislative Council. Apart from the two leaders, no one else was present in the room. According to sources, there was a discussion between Chief Minister Fadnavis and Uddhav Thackeray in a closed room for about 10 minutes. However, the information about what was discussed in this meeting has not been revealed yet. Before the meeting held in the hand, Uddhav Thackeray along with his MLA son Aditya Thackeray met Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Legislative Council Chairman Ram Shinde. During this meeting, Uddhav Thackeray presented a book of editorials and columns written by various editors to Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Ram Shinde in the context of the imperative of Marathi language and Hindi.
It is being told that there was a discussion between Uddhav Thackeray and Devendra Fadnavis about the Leader of Opposition in the Assembly, Trishag Formula and the imperative of Hindi. Why is Hindi mandatory? Uddhav Thackeray gave this book to Devendra Fadnavis. Devendra Fadnavis also requested Uddhav Thackeray to give this book chairman to Narendra Jadhav. In the Legislative Assembly, the post of Leader of the Opposition is the right of the chairman, but the post of Leader of the Opposition is not yet being given. In this regard, Uddhav Thackeray and Aditya Thackeray discussed with the Chief Minister in the House. Some MLAs of Thackeray’s Shiv Sena were also present on the occasion.
Fadnavis proposed this to Uddhav yesterday.
Earlier on Wednesday, Fadnavis said that Uddhav Thackeray “may come to power in a different way”. Addressing the Maharashtra Legislative Assembly, the Chief Minister said that there is no scope for BJP to enter opposition by 2029. Fadnavis said, “There is no scope for at least 2029 to come there (opposition). Uddhav ji can consider the possibility of coming on this side (ruling party) and it can be considered differently, but there is no scope for us (opposition) coming there (opposition). Differences occurred and the coalition of both parties broke down. Uddhav left the BJP and formed the government by joining hands with the Congress.
