New Delhi. Abhishek Manu Singhvi, who fought the case of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and other senior leaders of Aam Aadmi Party in the alleged liquor scam case, has been given a new responsibility. Singhvi is also a senior Congress leader. Now the party has given a new responsibility to Abhishek Manu Singhvi. Actually, the oldest party of the country has reorganized its Law, Human Rights and RTI department. The party high command has made senior leader and famous lawyer Abhishek Manu Singhvi the head of this department. Along with him, other senior leaders and advocates have also been included in the department.
Congress on Saturday reorganized its Law, Human Rights and RTI Department. Abhishek Manu Singhvi was appointed its chairman. The department includes people like senior lawyer Salman Khurshid, KTS Tulsi and Vivek Tankha. According to a statement issued by the party, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has approved the proposal to reorganize the AICC Law, Human Rights and RTI Department with immediate effect. Singhvi has been named the chairman of the department. The panel includes Khurshid, Tankha, Tulsi, Harin Raval, Prashanto Sen, Devdutt Kamath and Vipul Maheshwari. Muhammad Ali Khan is the secretary in the executive panel.

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge has reorganized the politically important department. Abhishek Manu Singhvi has been made the chairman. Aman Panwar, Umar Hoda, Isha Bakshi, Arjun Sharma, Nishant Mandal, Amit Bhandari, Tarannum Cheema, Ningombam Bupenda Meitei, Lalnunhlui Ralte and Swati Draik are the members of the executive panel in this department.
Fighting Kejriwal’s case
Abhishek Manu Singhvi is fighting many high profile cases. These include the case of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. ED and CBI have arrested CM Kejriwal in the alleged liquor scam case of Delhi. While CBI has detained Kejriwal on charges of corruption in Delhi Excise Policy, ED had arrested him in the case of money laundering. Abhishek Manu Singhvi is pleading Kejriwal’s case from Delhi High Court to Supreme Court. Singhvi is also pleading Manish Sisodia’s case.
