New Delhi: The interim government in Bangladesh is going to be sworn in this evening. Amid the possibility of Muhammad Yunus taking over as the head of the interim government, the Indian Foreign Ministry has issued a big statement. India said that the interest of the people of Bangladesh is most important for it. Along with this, the Foreign Ministry also expressed hope that law and order will be restored in Bangladesh soon. Muhammad Yunus will continue to look after the work of the interim government until elections are held in Bangladesh. He will now go directly to Bangabhaban, the official residence of the Prime Minister. The interim government will now be in charge of the country until an elected government is formed in Bangladesh. President Mohammad Shahabuddin will administer the oath to the interim government. Bangladesh Army Chief General Waqar-uz-Zaman said on Wednesday that the swearing-in ceremony of the interim government will probably be held in the evening, in which about 400 dignitaries will be present.
