PM Modi made a big announcement regarding 6G.
On India’s 78th Independence Day, Prime Minister Narendra Modi hoisted the national flag for the 11th time at the Red Fort. After this, PM Modi addressed the countrymen. PM Modi also said many important things about technology in his 1 hour 41 minute address. The Prime Minister said many important things about 5G as well as 6G. PM Modi said that India is rapidly growing in the field of technology and the country is preparing to enter the field of 6G soon.
During his address, the Prime Minister said that along with becoming the third largest economy in the world, India is providing the most affordable mobile data plans and internet services to the people on the global stage. Talking about 6G, PM Modi said that we have already rolled out 5G and now work is being done rapidly in the direction of 6G.
Formation of task force for 6G
During his speech from the Red Fort, PM Modi said that we have formed a 6G task force so that people can get high speed 6G internet connectivity. He said that India has become the fastest country to roll out 5G. PM Modi said that 6G technology will prove to be very helpful to us in many areas.
Let us tell you that the country’s number one telecom company Reliance Jio has recently completed the work of providing 5G in all its 22 circles. The special thing is that Jio has rolled out 5G in 22 circles of the country before its scheduled time. The second-ranked telecom company Airtel is also rapidly completing the work of 5G.
Big talk about semi conductor
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also talked about semiconductors during his speech. He said that currently about 85000 people are being trained at B.Tech, M.Tech and PhD levels in semiconductor chip design in about 113 educational institutions of the country. This shows that people in India are interested in the semiconductor sector. PM Modi also talked about the gaming sector. He said that India has the potential to make gaming products at the global level and create new employment opportunities.
