Patna. The results of 12th (Inter) examination 2022 were declared by the Bihar School Examination Committee (BSEB) on Wednesday. A total of 80.15 percent of the candidates were declared passed in this examination, while more than 90 percent of the candidates were successful in the highest commerce stream. State Education Minister Vijay Kumar Choudhary released the exam results. On this occasion, Additional Chief Secretary, Education Department, Sanjay Kumar and BSEB Chairman Anand Kishor were also present.
BSEB Chairman Anand Kishor said that this year 13,25,749 candidates had appeared in all the three faculties, out of which 80.15 percent candidates have been declared successful.
He said that in the Faculty of Arts, where 79.53 percent students were successful, 90.38 percent in the Faculty of Commerce and 79.81 percent in the Faculty of Science have passed.
He said that a total of 5,67,473 candidates appeared in the Faculty of Science for the Intermediate Annual Examination 2022, in which 3,80,065 were boys and 1,87,408 were girls. In this faculty, 2,65,218 candidates have passed in first division, 1,82,919 candidates have passed in second division and 4,764 candidates have passed in third division. Thus, a total of 4,52,901 candidates have passed in the Faculty of Science, which is 79.81 percent of the candidates appeared in the examination of this faculty.
Similarly, in the Faculty of Commerce, a total of 60,637 candidates appeared, out of which a total of 31.353 candidates passed in the first division, 19,035 in the second division and 4,417 in the third division. In this way, a total of 54,805 candidates have passed in the commerce faculty, which is 90.38 percent of the candidates appeared in the examination of this faculty.
A total of 6,97,086 candidates appeared in Arts Faculty this year, in which 1,55,458 candidates passed with first division while 3,08,611 candidates passed in second division and 90,350 candidates passed in third division. A total of 5,54,419 candidates have passed in the Faculty of Arts, which is 79.53 percent of the candidates appeared in the examination of this faculty.
He said that Sangam Raj, a resident of Gopalganj, became the state topper in the Faculty of Arts by scoring a total of 482 marks, while in the Faculty of Commerce, Ankit Gupta secured the first rank in the state by scoring 473 marks. In the Faculty of Science, Sairabh Kumar and Arjun Kumar were joint toppers. Both have scored 472 marks.
Kishor said that for the last four years, the Bihar School Examination Committee is releasing the exam results before any state.
On this occasion, the Education Minister congratulated the officials and staff of BSEB for declaring the result in less time.
