Samastipur. This is what is called darkness under the lamp. On one hand, Bihar CM Nitish Kumar is going to spend Rs 500 crore for conducting caste census. At the same time, in his own state, a poor father has been seen begging for bribe to get his son’s body. This case is of Samastipur in Bihar. Mahesh Thakur, a resident of Ahar village in the Tajpur police station area, has demanded Rs 50,000 for giving the body of the son from Mahesh Thakur. Mahesh does not have money, so he was seen begging for this money.
Parents collected donations for conducting post-mortem of young son in Samastipur, Bihar.
The post-mortem worker said – “Bring 50 thousand and take away the body of the son”.What can be more cruel than the poor not getting the dead body of their young son without paying the money? This cannot be Buddha’s Bihar! pic.twitter.com/hmIprM4EZL

According to Mahesh Thakur, 25-year-old son Sanjeev had gone missing. Reported to the police. On June 7, it was learned that the police had found a dead body. On reaching the police station, it was told that the body has been sent to Sadar Hospital for postmortem. He reached the hospital. There the staff of the first postmortem house refused to show the dead body. Mahesh pleaded a lot. After which the body was shown. Mahesh identified him as Sanjeev. After this he talked about giving the dead body. Mahesh alleges that the employee demanded a bribe from him.
According to Mahesh, the employee told to hand over the dead body only after paying 50 thousand rupees. Poor Mahesh said that he did not have that much money. He narrated his grief. Cried, but the staff did not sweat. In such a situation, to get the body of the son, he was left with no way but to beg. He was seen roaming from village to village collecting Rs 50000 bribe from begging. Someone made a video of him and this video went viral. Bihar has seen many times people get upset due to poverty, but when the father has to beg to get the son’s body, then Nitish Kumar’s government’s methods of functioning and slogans of ‘Bihar mein bahar hai’ Question marks start popping up.
