Unbridled miscreants have once again carried out a sensational incident in Bihar. They ransacked the Punjab National Bank located in a congested area and robbed them of more than Rs 50 lakh. The courageous miscreants also opened fire during this.
On getting information about the incident, the police officers along with the force reached the spot and started investigation. Police have recovered bullet shells from the spot. Based on the CCTV footage, the police is trying to trace the culprits.
There is a Punjab National Bank branch in Supaul Bazar of Biraul police station area. At around 4 pm, five armed criminals stormed the bank. The criminals started robbing the guards and customers inside the bank by opening the lockers with pistols.
During this, the miscreants also opened fire to spread panic. The criminals also robbed seven lakh rupees from a private financier who had come to deposit money in the bank and fled while firing.
There was a stir as soon as the police got the information from the bank. The police force reached the spot and a check-up operation was carried out by blocking the city. The employees are matching how much amount has been looted from the bank. According to an estimate, 50 to 55 lakh rupees have been taken in the hands of the miscreants.
