Patna. BJP’s firebrand leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh has once again made a scathing attack on NDA’s own Bihar government. Giriraj Singh is especially angry over the cancellation of Holi leave of teachers. He has said that it is a Tughlaqi decree of the government that no holiday was given even on Holi, the biggest festival of people who believe in Hinduism and Sanatan. Today, thirty thousand teachers of Bihar are on training in other districts and for this, Giriraj Singh is being continuously called by the teachers.
Giriraj Singh said that earlier also he had talked to many ministers of Bihar government and after seriously considering this, they had asked to declare a holiday on March 25 also. But on the contrary, teachers were sent to different districts for training. The situation is such that now they are being deprived of even celebrating the festival. He once again reiterated the point and said that if any government has the courage and shows it by canceling the holidays of Eid or Bakrid, then I will agree. He said that in many places in Kosi area, holiday is still given on Friday, if the government wants, it can also get it investigated. This is a direct attack on Sanatan, which is not worth tolerating.
Actually Giriraj Singh is in his parliamentary constituency Begusarai and is also continuously communicating with the people. Giriraj Singh is also participating in the Holi Milan ceremony being celebrated during Holi. At the same time, BJP MLA from Lalganj seat of Vaishali termed the order of Additional Chief Secretary of Education Department KK Pathak to open schools on Holi as a Tughlaqi decree. In protest against the department’s order to open schools even on the day of Holi, the teachers union gheraoed the residence of BJP MLA from Lalganj Sanjay Singh and demanded the MLA to withdraw the order issued by the department.

On this, BJP MLA Sanjay Singh said that Holi festival is celebrated by people of Sanatani community all over the world and opening schools on Holi day is not appropriate anywhere. The Rashtriya Janata Dal tweeted and said that the state of bureaucracy in Bihar is such that the officers who dance on the heads of the public have postponed the training for teachers even on the day of Holi, the main festival of Bihar! If Holi leave had been granted, what would have reduced the ego of CM Nitish Kumar?
