Patna . The Bihar Monitoring Investigation Bureau has achieved two successes on Saturday. A team of Monitoring Investigation Bureau arrested Revenue Employees cum Circle Inspector Ajay Kumar Mandal in Jayanagar in Madhubani district, taking a bribe of Rs three lakh, while the computer operator Akash Kumar Das, posted at the Zonal Office in Sasaram in Rohtas district, got a bribe of 1.10 lakh rupees. An official of the Monitoring Investigation Bureau said that the bureau team has arrested the revenue employee Ajay Mandal taking a bribe of three lakh rupees from his rented house in Chitragupta Colony, Jayanagar. It was told that Indrajit Kumar, who hails from Jayanagar, had lodged a complaint with the bureau that a bribe is being demanded by the revenue staff board for rejecting the land.
After verification of the case, a team was formed under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Sujit Kumar Sagar. On Saturday, the party took action and arrested the Revenue Staff Board Rangheath taking a bribe of three lakh rupees. According to the information, an attempt was made by the accused revenue employee to change the place and time by repeatedly changing the place and time. The bureau team, showing the understanding, arrested Rangheath, taking bribe from a rented house in Jayanagar, bordering Nepal about 200 km from the bureau headquarters.
Jitendra Singh Gangwar, Director General of Monitoring Investigation Bureau, has also spoken of rewarding the members of the party. The second action was taken by the bureau in Rohtas district, where computer operator Akash Kumar Das, posted in Sasaram’s Zonal Office, was arrested red handed taking a bribe of Rs 1.10 lakh. It was told that Akash Kumar Das was taking one lakh rupees for rejecting the filing of land from Pankaj Kumar of Sasaram Nagar police station area, when the bureau team caught them.
