Due to this the driver of the tractor got stuck between the engine and the trolley. After the incident, the accomplices of the driver fled from the spot. He informed about this in the village. On this, the relatives of the driver reached the spot. He took out the dead body and informed the police. police have performed postmortem on the corpse.
Sahadev Kenwat (22) living in Lakhram of Ratanpur area drives his own tractor. On Monday morning, they had gone to collect sand from Kharang river. Around six o’clock in the morning, they were coming towards the road filled with sand from the river. While climbing uphill from the river, the tractor’s engine overturned and overturned towards the trolley. The driver got stuck between the engine and the trolley. After the incident his accomplices fled from the spot.
The comrades of the driver informed about the incident to his relatives. On this, relatives reached the spot. Straighten the engine and pulled out the driver. By then the driver had died. The relative informed the police about this. On this, the police has got the body in possession and got the post-mortem done.
The sand coming out of four places, the mineral department is not aware
Sand is being extracted from four places from Akaltari bridge near Lakhram to Sarvandevri Anicut in Kharang. Illegal miners remain active throughout the night. On Sunday night also sand was being extracted from different places in Kharang river. Sahadev had gone to collect sand from near Sarvandevari. He died in an accident that happened while fetching sand.
The young man’s life had gone even a year ago
A year ago, a youth was killed when the engine of a tractor overturned while fetching sand from Kharang river. On this information, the police conducted the post-mortem of the dead body. Even after coming to know about this, the officials of the Mineral Department did not take action against the illegal miners.
