New Delhi . India’s Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh held a bilateral meeting with Brigadier General Ghankhuag Dewadoraj, State Secretary of the Ministry of Defense of Mongolia. The bilateral talks took place on Friday in Ullanbatar, the capital of Mongolia. In this meeting, various issues were discussed to strengthen defense cooperation between the two countries. Emphasis was especially emphasized to promote cooperation in areas of new and emerging technical capabilities. This dialogue is an attempt to give a new direction to the Indo-Mangolia strategic partnership. Also, this dialogue has been described as an important step towards further strengthening mutual trust and cooperation in the defense sector.
Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh will participate in the opening ceremony of the multinational joint military exercise ‘Khan Quest 2025’ held at Ulaanbatar on Saturday. The Indian Army contingent is also involved in this military exercise. At the same time, Mongolian and American army are also part of this exercise. The Indian Army contingent involved in this exercise includes 40 soldiers of the Kumaon Regiment as well as personnel of other organs and services. Additionally, a female officer and two female soldiers are also part of the contingent.
‘Khan Quest 2025’ will be held from 14 June to 28 June. This exercise provides an important platform towards promoting coordination, partnership and military cooperation between the armies of various countries. An important joint exercise ‘Nomadic Elephant 2025’, an important joint exercise against terrorism between India and Mongolia forces, was completed on Friday.
India’s Defense Secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh was present in Mongolia’s capital Ulaanbatar on the occasion. He presided over the closing ceremony of the Indo-Mangolia joint military exercise. He was present as the chief guest. He was accompanied by Mongolia Deputy Chief of General Staff Brigadier General Batar Baljid, India’s Ambassador Atul M. Gotsurve and Director General, Operational Logistics and Strategic Movement Lt. General Pushpendra Singh were also present in Mongolia.
The Defense Secretary appreciated the professional efficiency of Indian and Mongolian soldiers. He described this practice as a symbol of growing defense cooperation and shared commitment to regional peace.
