New Delhi. Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar is often in the news due to his statements. Sometimes his love for Pakistan is visible in his statements and sometimes something else. The latest case is related to China. Actually, during a program, Aiyar said that in 1962, China had ‘allegedly’ attacked India. BJP has targeted Aiyar for using the word ‘alleged’ for the Chinese attack and has also cornered Rahul Gandhi and Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge. However, seeing the matter getting out of hand, Aiyar later clarified his statement and apologized.

BJP spokesperson Gaurav Bhatia questioned the silence of Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge and Rahul Gandhi on Mani Shankar Aiyar’s statement. Gaurav said that 43 thousand square kilometers of Indian land was occupied by China during the time of Jawaharlal Nehru. This land is still occupied by China. Congress leader Mani Shankar Aiyar gave a clean chit to China, could this happen without Rahul Gandhi’s consent?
Gaurav said that Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge is also silent on this issue. We all know very well the relationship between India and China, India stands proudly showing China its place, at such a time this statement of Congress and Mani Shankar Aiyar shows the anti-India mentality of the Congress party. Mani Shankar has a long association with controversies. Recently, Aiyar had advised India to respect Pakistan and said that Pakistan has a nuclear bomb, this should not be forgotten. This statement of Aiyar also created a lot of uproar in the country. From PM Narendra Modi to many other BJP leaders have been criticizing this statement.
