New Delhi. After getting fewer seats than expected in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP is continuously brainstorming. In this sequence, BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda has appointed new in-charges and deputy in-charges in 24 states and union territories. UP BJP MLA and former minister Shrikant Sharma has been appointed as the new in-charge of Himachal Pradesh and Sanjay Tandon has been appointed as co-in-charge. Party MP Sambit Patra has been appointed in-charge of North East states while V. Muralidharan has been appointed as co-in-charge. Similarly, Tarun Chugh has been appointed in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir and Ashish Sood has been given the responsibility of co-in-charge. Senior BJP leader and MP Laxmikant Bajpai has been retained as Jharkhand in-charge.

Former Union Minister Prakash Javadekar has been given the charge of Kerala while Aparajita Sarangi has been appointed as the co-in-charge of Kerala. Vinod Tawde has been made the state in-charge of Bihar while Deepak Prakash has been given the responsibility of co-in-charge as his assistant. Satish Poonia has been given the charge of Haryana while Surendra Nagar has been made co-in-charge. Senior MP Dr. Radha Mohan Das Aggarwal has been given the responsibility as in-charge of Karnataka. Sudhakar Reddy has been appointed as co-in-charge. Former Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani has been given the charge of Punjab. Dr. Narendra Singh has been made co-in-charge of Punjab.
In the hilly state of Uttarakhand, Dushyant Kumar Gautam has been appointed as state in-charge while Rekha Verma has been appointed as co-in-charge by the party. In Madhya Pradesh, Dr. Mahendra Singh has been appointed in-charge and Satish Upadhyay as co-in-charge. Apart from this, Raghunath Kulkarni has been made in-charge of Andaman and Nicobar Islands, Ashok Singhal for Arunachal Pradesh, Nitin Navin for Chhattisgarh, Dushyat Patel for Daman Island, Ashish Sood for Goa, Dr. Ajit Gopchade for Manipur, Devesh Kumar for Meghalaya, Anil Antony for Nagaland, Nirmal Kumar Surana for Puducherry and Dr. Dilip Jaiswal has been made in-charge of Sikkim.
