New Delhi. During the Lok Sabha elections, three independent MLAs in Haryana have announced to withdraw their support from the ruling BJP, which has created a stir in the politics of the state. Former Chief Minister and senior Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda expressed his gratitude to three independent MLAs for withdrawing their support from BJP and supporting Congress. He said that this decision taken at the right time will definitely have an impact. Independent MLAs – Somvir Sangwan, Ranjit Golan and Dharampal Gondar have withdrawn their support to the BJP government led by Chief Minister Saini.
Former CM Hooda expressed his gratitude on social media platforms. He thanked MLAs Somveer Sangwan (Charkhi Dadri), Ranjit Golan (Poondri) and Dharampal Gondar (Neelo Khedi).
Hooda further said, ‘The decision taken at the right time keeping in mind the public sentiments will definitely have an impact. Today, not only the public but also the people who voted and supported BJP are unhappy with the policies of the government. After withdrawal of support, he told JJP and independent MLAs, BJP government is now in minority, hence President’s rule should be immediately imposed in Haryana and assembly elections should be conducted, BJP is going, Congress is coming.
It is noteworthy that during a press conference in Rohtak, three independent MLAs had accused the government of Haryana Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala that they were not satisfied with the policies of the party, hence they were withdrawing their support from the BJP government. There are now 88 MLAs in the 90-member assembly as former chief minister Manohar Lal Khattar and independent MLA Ranjit Chautala have resigned. After withdrawal of support of three independent MLAs, BJP now has only 43 MLAs in the House.
