In West Bengal, BJP is badly entangled with the rhetoric of one of its senior leaders. This big leader had made objectionable remarks while taunting Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. This made the party uncomfortable. The matter reached the Election Commission and then the Commission called for a report in this matter. After this, the central leadership of BJP has issued a show cause notice to its leader and sought his reply. Meanwhile, this big leader expressed regret for his comments on Maukhit, but shortly after that he posted his controversial speech on Facebook and claimed that what he said was the voice of the public. Due to this the party is in trouble.
Actually, this entire matter is related to Dilip Ghosh, former president of West Bengal BJP and party candidate from Bardaman-Durgapur. He used indecent language for the Chief Minister in a meeting. His statement regarding the Chief Minister is from his own party B J P This did not go well, rather a show cause notice was issued to him through a strict letter and he was warned. Despite apologizing after the party’s strong message, Dilip Ghosh is adamant on his stand. The BJP candidate from Burdwan-Durgapur posted his speech on Facebook and claimed that he had spoken about the common people.

Dilip Ghosh wrote on Facebook, “Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Trinamool Now there is no way to survive without the Women Victim Card. Common people are against him today. Leaders are going to jail. I am asking only for the common people. They cannot speak out of fear, I have said this for them.”
Talking to journalists on the sidelines of election campaign in Burdwan-Durgapur. Dilip Had made objectionable remarks while taunting the Chief Minister. Trinamool complained to the Election Commission against this comment of the BJP candidate. A report was also sought from the District Magistrate on behalf of the Commission.
BJP upset by the comment
This comment of Dilip was not liked by his party BJP. The central leadership of the party issued a show cause notice to Dilip and said that the remarks you have made against the Chief Minister today are indecent and unparliamentary. Such comments are against the tradition of BJP and the party does not condone them in any way.
After receiving this letter Dilip Expressed his regret verbally. He also claimed that he had no personal complaint against the Chief Minister. But shortly after expressing regret over the comment, Dilip Ghosh stuck to his old position by posting on Facebook.
