Rajasthan BJP Minority Front state president Hamid Khan was on a visit to Mewati Bundi, where he launched a public awareness campaign for Waqf reforms. Speaking to the media, BJP Minority Front state president Hamid Khan Mewati has accused AIMIM President Asaduddin Owaisi of illegally occupying 3,000 bighas of Waqf Board in Hyderabad.
Along with this, Mewati has accused senior Congress leader and national president Mallikarjun Kharge and former Union Minister CS Ibrahim of misusing Waqf’s land. He said that ever since Prime Minister Narendra Modi introduced the Waqf Amendment Bill, people occupying Waqf properties have been nervous. The names of many Congress leaders are coming out. Whereas no one has any problem with this bill. People are happy with the bill.
“We are making people aware”
Mewati said that opposition parties have spread some misconceptions among the people about the bill. To create awareness about this, people are being educated about the Waqf Bill through workshops in districts across the state. State President Hamid Khan Mewati said that the names of several Congress leaders who have illegally occupied Waqf land in Rajasthan have come out. A list of names of such leaders is being prepared, their names will be announced soon.
Workshop organized in Bundi
He alleged that we would go among the public and tell them that those leaders worked not for public interest but for their personal interests. During this, Kota Division Convenor Dr. Majid Malik Commando also addressed the gathering. Earlier, a district level workshop was organized in Bundi under Waqf Reform Public Awareness Campaign.
