Demand for justice: The hunger strike in Kumarda continued for the second day to provide justice to the family on the suicide of a tribal farmer of Keregaon.

In Keregaon village of Chhuria block adjoining Dongargaon, the matter of suicide of tribal farmer Suresh Netam, troubled by low debt and acreage, is still hot. In Kumarda, BJP is on hunger strike with the family of a tribal farmer. Calling for justice, the hunger strike near Kumarda Bus Stand continued for the second day on Tuesday. Which also got the support of senior BJP leaders. Former MP Pradeep Gandhi said that why the Congress government of the state is silent on the suicide of the tribal farmer. The government should help the farmer family without wasting any time.
District BJP General Secretary Sachin Baghel while addressing the indefinite hunger strike said that the Congress government has completely failed in the matter of Chhattisgarh. He said that the government has completely failed in providing justice to the tribals. The farmer family should get 50 lakh assistance. On the other hand, District President of Kisan Morcha Hirendra Sahu, State Minister of BJYM Kailash Sharma and other leaders said that the agitation will continue till the tribal women and the deceased family get justice. BJP will not tolerate ignoring the tribal class.

Gaind Bai and her three innocent girls went on hunger strike.
The hunger strike, which has been going on for two consecutive days, is getting support from the BJP leaders as well as the people of tribal society and other sections. In the second day’s strike, District Minister Rajesh Singhi, District Vice President Ekant Chandrakar, General Secretary Kumarda Mandal Bodhan Sahu, General Secretary Kumarda Mandal Noonkaran Bhuarya, Sundar Lal Sahu, Kanshu Yadav, Mukesh Sahu, Anant Tiwari, Thakur Ram Yadav, Kishun Sahu, Deendayal Sahu , Yogendra Rajput Gadda, Hirde Devangan, Chandu Patel, Loomed Sahu and other workers were present.

Cultural Arts Forum to be built in Bhandaribharda

On Mahashivratri, MLA Chhanni Sahu performed Bhandaribharda and Markakasa of Chhuria block for the construction of cultural art forum and community hall. Earlier, MLA Chhanani offered prayers to Lord Bholenath. In village Bhandaribharda, MLA Chhanani performed Bhoomipujan by running a gait after worship for a cultural art forum to be built at a cost of two lakh rupees. At the same time, under the auspices of the tribal Dhruv Gond society, the program was started by lighting the lamp in Budhadev, the presiding deity of the tribal Gond society.

Bhoomipujan of community building in Markakasa
Here MLA Chhanani Sahu worshiped Lord Bholenath in village Markakasa of Vananchal area and performed Bhoomipujan for the community building. In the village, MLA Chhanani Sahu was welcomed by the villagers with Mandari dance and flower garlands. After this, in the program organized by Kanwar Adivasi Samaj and Gram Panchayat, the MLA announced the community building and performed Bhoomi Pujan. On this occasion, Block Congress President Ritesh Jain, Spokesperson Rahul Tiwari, Sarpanch Sangh President Dharmendra Sahu, Sarpanch Savitri Bai Miri, Madan Lal, Radhe Lal, Balwan, Lakhan Lal, Hembai, Rohidas, Neera Bai, Anjora Bai, Nand Kumari, Pilam Kanwar Dev Kumar and villagers were present in large numbers.
