Sand has to be bought at expensive prices for Prime Minister’s residence
Singarpur (Naiduniya Representative). The Gondwana Republic Party along with the beneficiaries submitted a memorandum in the name of Collector Mandla to the Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat Mohgaon. In the development block Mohgaon, more than 2300 beneficiaries are of Prime Minister’s housing construction. Sand is also required for development works in village panchayats. In rural areas, housing cannot be built for Rs 1.25 lakh due to the high cost of sand. To which the Gondwana Gantantra Party has reacted strongly and said that according to the rules of Madhya Pradesh Minor Mineral Rules 1996, according to which Panchayats have the right to supply sand free of cost for Panchayati work. But that right has been put on hold. There is a demand of Gondwana Gantantra Party Block Branch Mohgaon that orders should be made to supply free sand to the Prime Minister’s housing beneficiaries and Panchayats under Minor Mineral Rule (3).
