New Delhi: Before the Lok Sabha elections, all the parties are busy in their preparations. Meanwhile, Bharatiya Janata Party has released the 8th list of its candidates. The names of a total of 11 candidates are included in this list. It contains names of candidates from Odisha, Punjab and West Bengal. Whereas Sunny Deol’s ticket has been canceled from Gurdaspur seat of Punjab. BJP has declared Dinesh Singh Babbu as its candidate in place of Sunny Deol. Apart from this, BJP has also made former Indian Ambassador to America Taranjit Singh Sandhu its candidate. Let us tell you that Taranjit Singh Sandhu had recently taken membership of BJP.
Candidates from Odisha and West Bengal
Talking about other candidates of Bharatiya Janata Party, at present the names of three candidates have been declared from Odisha. In this, BJP has given ticket to Ravindra Narayan Behera from Jajpur Lok Sabha seat. Apart from these, Sukant Kumar Panigrahi has been made the candidate from Kandhamal Lok Sabha seat while Bhartrihari Mahtab has been made the candidate from Cuttack Lok Sabha seat. BJP has also announced the names of candidates on two seats from West Bengal. In this, names of candidates for Jhargram and Birbhum Lok Sabha seats have appeared. While BJP has made Pranat Tudu its candidate for Jhargram Lok Sabha seat, Debashish Dhar has got the ticket for Birbhum Lok Sabha seat.
Names of 6 candidates declared in Punjab
At the same time, BJP has also announced the names of its candidates on six Lok Sabha seats of Punjab. BJP has canceled the ticket of actor-turned-politician Sunny Deol from the much-discussed Gurdaspur Lok Sabha seat of Punjab. Dinesh Singh Babbu has been given the ticket in his place. Apart from these, former US Ambassador Taranjit Singh Sandhu, who recently joined BJP, has been declared its candidate from Amritsar Lok Sabha seat. Similarly, BJP has made Sushil Kumar Rinku from Jalandhar Lok Sabha seat, Ravneet Singh Bittu from Ludhiana Lok Sabha seat, Hans Raj Hans from Faridkot Lok Sabha seat and Preneet Kaur from Patiala Lok Sabha seat as its candidates.
