New Delhi. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Friday released its fourth list of Lok Sabha candidates. The list includes candidates for one seat in Puducherry and 14 seats in Tamil Nadu. Just a day earlier, the third list was unveiled, which included candidates from 9 constituencies in Tamil Nadu. Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan has been nominated from Chennai South constituency. State BJP chief K. Annamalai has been fielded from Coimbatore, while Union Minister L. Murugan has been made the candidate from Nilgiris.
There are a total of 39 Lok Sabha seats in Tamil Nadu, of which the BJP has allotted 10 seats to the Pattali Makkal Katchi (PMK) alliance. As a result, candidates are yet to be announced for 6 seats in the state. Also, on Thursday, BJP declared Mohesh Chai as its candidate from Tezu constituency for the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections.
