Here Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will play the role of co-in-charge. At the same time, G Kishan Reddy has been made in-charge of Jammu and Kashmir. BJP has said that this appointment will be done with immediate effect.

The term of the assembly in Maharashtra is to end at the end of this year. In such a situation, assembly elections can be held in Maharashtra, which has 288 seats, in October or before that. At the same time, the term of Jharkhand is to end on 5 January 2025. Assembly elections were held here last time in November-December. In such a situation, this time too, elections are likely to be held in Jharkhand, which has 81 seats, in November-December or before that.
