New Delhi. The Bharatiya Janata Party has responded strongly to the allegations made by Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MP Sanjay Singh. Delhi BJP state president Virendra Sachdeva said that Sanjay Singh did not disclose whether he had met any restaurant owner between 1 and 3 in the night or not. He questioned whether the alcohol policy was initially reasonable but was then changed. Sachdeva said that shouting loudly does not make a lie true. The issue of who will become the Chief Minister is just drama.
Let us tell you that amidst the allegations of Aam Aadmi Party, BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said that Arvind Kejriwal has to face the anger of the people. He criticized Kejriwal for opening liquor shops instead of schools in Delhi. Tiwari expressed sympathy for women who expected their children to support them but may face alcohol-related problems because of Kejriwal’s actions.

Tiwari accused Kejriwal of looting Delhi and withdrawing Rs 25-30 crore from the government treasury for personal gain. He claimed that Kejriwal needs Rs 100 crore more to fight the case. Tiwari argued that if Kejriwal had allocated Rs 25 crore to Delhi, the issue of sewage flowing on the roads could have been resolved. He mentioned a conversation he had with an MLA from Gokalpur, who had demanded clean drinking water. Tiwari stressed on the serious situation in the Delhi neighbourhood.
BJP MP Manoj Tiwari said, “‘You had to open a school in Delhi, but you started opening a bar’… It seems that BJP will have to bring a white paper on Delhi’s liquor scam and I am confident that we will do so absolutely everything.” Please clarify. First, they looted Delhi and then spent around Rs 25 crore from government funds to fight the liquor policy issue. For this they need Rs 100 crore more…”
