New Delhi. An alliance has been finalized between BJP, Telugu Desam Party and Janasena Party for the Lok Sabha elections in Andhra Pradesh. BJP National President JP Nadda gave this information through a social media post. Although no information has been given regarding seat distribution yet, it is estimated that out of 25 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh, BJP is going to contest on 6, Pawan Kalyan’s Janasena on 2 and TDP on 17 seats. There are 175 seats in the Andhra Pradesh Assembly.

Earlier, a meeting was held on Saturday at the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah regarding the alliance. TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu and Janasena Party President Pawan Kalyan participated in it. Later TDP MP Kanakmedala Ravindra Kumar also told that his party is joining NDA. In fact, till 2018, TDP was included in the BJP-led alliance NDA.
Talking about Andhra Pradesh, YSRCP is ruling there. Last time i.e. in 2019, YSRCP had won 22 out of 25 Lok Sabha seats. At the same time, it formed the government by winning 151 seats in the assembly elections. BJP did not win even a single Lok Sabha or Assembly seat in Andhra Pradesh last time. The reason for this was that BJP had fought the last two elections on its own. This time again if TDP contests with it, then NDA may win many seats in Andhra Pradesh also. Meanwhile, TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu said that Andhra Pradesh has been badly ruined. The country and the state will benefit by coming together with this alliance. On the other hand, BJP National President JP Nadda said that the country and the state will definitely develop under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
