In a meeting that lasted more than five-and-a-half hours on Wednesday, the BJP’s central leadership held a long churn with caretaker Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, state president Swatantra Dev Singh and other leaders regarding the formation of the new government.
According to sources, in the formation of the new government, apart from giving proper representation to all the six areas of the state organization, the party will do the work of balancing the caste. Along with this, the new class who came in these elections will also be given a place in the government and the potential supporter class will also be kept in mind. According to sources, the central leadership is in favor of keeping about half of the new faces in the new government. The state leadership is also almost in agreement with this, but there will be one more round of meeting now.
Sanjay Nishad and Anupriya Patel met Nadda
Meanwhile, on Thursday, the President of both the BJP’s allies, Dr. Sanjay Nishad, and Apna Dal leader and Union Minister Anupriya Patel have separately met BJP President JP Nadda. Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan and state president Swatantra Dev Singh were also present in these meetings. Discussions have taken place with these two leaders regarding the stake in the state government.
Also discussions for Legislative Council seats
In the meeting of the BJP central and state leadership till Wednesday night, the work of deliberation for the Legislative Council seats of UP has also been completed. According to sources, the names of all the candidates will be released in a day or two. The candidates shortlisted before this will also be informed separately so that they can file their nominations in time. After Holi, a meeting of the legislature party is likely to be held on March 20, in which the leader will be elected. After this, the top BJP leadership is also likely to attend the swearing-in ceremony.
