New Delhi. BJP has hit back at Shiv Sena (UBT) president Uddhav Thackeray’s statement on Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. BJP leader Praveen Darekar reacted sharply to Thackeray’s comment and said, ‘A barking dog never bites.’ Yesterday, Uddhav had said in a program that either Devendra Fadnavis will remain in Maharashtra politics or I. BJP leader Praveen Darekar said that this will be seen in the upcoming elections. Devendra Fadnavis was the leader of the opposition, Devendra Fadnavis was there even when Uddhav’s government was in power. After this, Devendra Fadnavis removed Uddhav Thackeray from power and formed the government again. Devendra Fadnavis was there yesterday, is there today and will be there tomorrow too.

The BJP leader said that Uddhav Thackeray will have to find his identity. I am sure that the people of Maharashtra will soon take away the arrogance that has come in him. Thackeray had said that Anil Deshmukh, who was the Home Minister in the Maha Vikas Aghadi government, had told me that Devendra Fadnavis is plotting to send me and my son Aditya to jail. Till now I have tolerated a lot. But now I challenge that either Fadnavis will remain in Maharashtra politics, or I will remain.
Targeting the leaders of the other faction of Shiv Sena, Uddhav said that whoever wants to go, go, do not betray while staying in the party, I will win the battle with the Shiv Sainiks. Thackeray said, they broke my party and my family. Now they are challenging us. Shiv Sena (UBT) is not a rusty sword but a sharp sword. Even if we have to struggle to save Mumbai, we will not step back, we will get the rights of Mumbai and its people.
