President Draupadi Murmu will administer the oath of office to Narendra Modi for the third time on June 9 at 7:15 pm. Members of the Union Council of Ministers will also take oath along with Modi. On Friday and Saturday, discussions were held between the leaders of BJP and all NDA parties regarding the distribution of ministries. What will be the form of Modi’s cabinet, how many ministers will take oath, how much share will each party get, which ministries will be given, all these things were discussed with NDA allies at JP Nadda’s house on Friday and on Saturday Amit Shah and JP Nadda had a conversation with the Prime Minister. At present no final decision has been taken, so it is useless to speculate. Anyway, Narendra Modi clearly said in the NDA meeting that the final decision has to be taken by me, so leaders should not get involved in discussions, rumours or breaking news. The leaders of the opposition parties who were expressing doubts about Nitish Kumar and Chandrababu Naidu, were claiming that the government will not last even 6 months, they also got the answer. Chandrababu Naidu said that Narendra Modi has a big role in the historic victory of his party in Andhra, Modi has made India a big power in the world, now the country and Andhra Pradesh will develop under the leadership of Modi.
Today, those people will be disappointed who used to say during the elections, ‘Take it down in writing, Narendra Modi will not be the Prime Minister after June 4’. Those people will be disappointed who were hoping that there will be a fight in NDA and someone else will become PM in place of Modi. Now they are saying how will Modi run the coalition government. Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar have answered this. They said that Modi is and will remain the most suitable Prime Minister for the development of the country, but when the Congress leaders started calling NDA as Naidu Dependant Alliance and Nitish Dependant Alliance, Modi reminded that the NDA government formed this time is the strongest government among any coalition government till date. It is worth noting that when Congress formed the coalition government in 2004, Congress had 145 MPs and when Congress government was formed in 2009, Congress had 206 MPs. Now BJP has 240 MPs in this coalition government. Modi also made it clear that he will not allow the era of speculations, rumours and middlemen to come back like before. Neither Modi’s way of running the government nor his attitude will change.
One more thing. As soon as Modi becomes the Prime Minister this time, many issues will be over. Issues that Rahul Gandhi and his colleagues had raised during the elections. First, that there was no threat to democracy in India, nor is there any and never can be. Second, there was never any tampering in EVMs, nor can it be done. Third, the Election Commission can neither make anyone win nor lose elections, it can only conduct elections. And fourthly, after a wait of 10 years, there will be a constitutional post of Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha because this time Congress has so many seats that it can elect the Leader of Opposition. I think this message went across the world. For this, the people of the country should be thanked. If this time again BJP had crossed 300, then all these doubts and suspicions, all questions would have remained as they were. Now the whole world has seen that democracy is alive in India, elections in India are free and fair, all doubts and suspicions have been buried forever and this is the biggest victory of democracy.
