Hamirpur. National Highway 34 once again witnessed the accident near Yamuna Bridge in the district, where a bike-riding brother-in-law Jija-Cale died on the spot. Both the youths were returning from the brother -in -law’s tilak ceremony.
According to the information, the accident happened when two bike riders were entering the border of Hamirpur on behalf of Kanpur Nagar. Meanwhile, the high speed truck coming from behind hit his bike strongly. After the collision, the bike got stuck in the truck and dragged the truck for about 50 meters. Both the youths died on the spot in the accident.
After the accident, the truck driver escaped leaving the vehicle on the spot. At the same time, Kanpur Nagar and Hamirpur police reached the spot as soon as the information of the accident was received, but there was confusion about the border area for some time. Later, the Hamirpur police took action and took the bodies and sent it for postmortem.
Action is being taken to identify the dead and inform the family. There is chaos in the relatives of the deceased after the incident. The police have started searching for the truck driver.
