Even before this, an email containing a bomb threat was received in Delhi hospitals. After which a search operation was conducted in hospitals. However, nothing suspicious was found from the hospital premises. There has also been a threat to bomb Delhi airport. A few days ago, bomb threats were received in more than 100 schools in Delhi and NCR. Immediately, the police and bomb disposal squad evacuated the schools and conducted a thorough search operation in which nothing objectionable was found anywhere. Recently, schools in Ahmedabad also received bomb threats.
Investigation revealed that the IP address from which these mails were sent was from Russia. Although the mail threatening Ahmedabad schools came from Pakistan, its IP address was also from Russia. Delhi Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena himself, after visiting several schools, had said that I want to assure the public that Delhi Police is fully prepared and we will try to prevent any untoward incident from happening. The LG said that criminals will not be spared and strictest action will be taken against whoever is involved in this. The investigating agency is investigating who is the person who is sending such threatening mails again and again.
